It goes without saying that Enterprise Systems are still one of the most interesting global phenomena that is important to practitioners, researchers, and teachers. According to commercial research entities like Gartner and Forbes, the Enterprise Systems market is about $ 30 Billion in 2015 ! That’s pretty sizable in anyone’s watch. Of course, things are changing here too. Especially, with the advent of cloud, mobile, in-memory, business intelligence, data science and social sentiment analysis in recent time will further increase the influence of Enterprise Systems for research, teaching and certainly for the practice.
The Special Interest Group for Enterprise Systems (SIG-ES) is a Global association of academics and practitioners. It is an inspiration for new ideas and an incubator for innovations. I would like the ES-SIG Global network to be your first point of call for brainstorming blue-ocean ideas, seeking collaborations for teaching and research and as a portal for our services.
